2017 TRD OR 4x4 Rough Country 3/1 kit.

Which orientation do these blocks go?

Instructions say nothing and I can't find a no BS post on similar products.

    Anyone?

the thick part of the block is to the rear , the thin side of the block towards the front .
The taper/wedge slope goes towards the front , so the pinion , and driveshaft goes up.

Rough Country 3/1 lift level kit

    http://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-745n2.html

The front is a little stiffer and the truck steers a little bit quicker if that makes sense. The back feels like stock as far as the bumps and ride. I think the shocks that come w it help a lot vs maxing out the factory shock and dampens the added stiffness of the block.

Front rose 3.25" on either side as the rear came up 1 1/8" on either side. Truck sits perfectly even sans the "bro lean".

If you don't mind a slightly stiffer ride and just want the look than this kit is fine.

If you want factory like ride w added ground clearance than save them ducketts because this kit ain't for you. This is just temporary till I can get the thousands and thousands of dollars on a proper lift kit lol.

Your change is steering behavior is likely due to suspension geometry, i.e. caster

Yup, taking it in tomorrow for an alignment. I did the lift last night.

I just got the wheels n tires Thursday. Only thing I don't like about the kit is it gives you instructions on cutting the skid plate supports to give added clearance for the diff drop. I'm gonna make my own. I think I have the right spacer here. I just need to get longer bolts.

There's a skid plate drop kit out there(spacers and longer bolts), but I forgot who makes it. I think Toytec does.

Tire size is a 265/70/17 Nitto Trail Grappler 10 ply on OEM 4R TRD Pro wheels.

Toytec makes the diff drop for about $30. It's just 1" spacers and longer bolts. Very quick and easy to install

Sucks they don't make a skid plate spacer kit. The pieces I need are in a diff drop kit which my RC kit came with.

Is this what you need? Or yours came with diff drop spacers, but no skid plate spacers?

Yes sir, I have a diff drop that came w the kit. I need the skid plates spacers or at least the specs on the thickness and length of the longer bolts required so I can make them.

My kit gives direction to cut the skid plate supports to give clearance so the pan can sit flush past the diff since it pokes out some.

I'd rather not cut metal, just my preference.

I'm with you there!! This is the biggest problem with a diff drop.... dealing with the skid plate.

Yeah it's a little bit of a pain. I'm thinking I'll fav something up. I have some aluminum and delrin stock.

From memory, they're about 10mm, so 10mm spacers and some 10mm longer bolts would do it. If you're capable of fabbing, that would be a good route to take.
