Hi everyone, i want to do a backseat delete which requires the removal of the factory subwoofer, however wanted to add some bass with aftermarket parts. Back when i had my 2016 with JBL i inquired about this and it was not possible at that time, is it now possible to tap into the factory JBL yet? I want to retain the factory headunit. I've searched a bit and am seeing possibly some progress? I am not well versed in car audio so i apologize ahead of time. Thank you.

I never got far into researching before scrapping a similar idea, but I think what you’re looking for is the LC7i. Unless the sub and amp is one whole unit, then never mind.
