I purchased a 2008 Tacoma with 77000 miles on it. Real good condition and well maintained. I have a tapping noise when driving and it stops when I apply the brakes. The Toyota dealer has replaced the front brakes and checked the rear brakes. They can't find what's causing the noise.
Has anybody had the same issue? Thank you in advance for any ideas or suggestions.

Thanks to all. I checked the U joints and they seem to be tight. Is there any other suggestions as to what might be making the tapping noise?
