Tattoo Ideas

So I've been dying to get a tattoo for years but could never pull the trigger.

I want something that actually has meaning oppose to something tribal and stuff like that.(no disrespect to those that have that) just not what I want my first tattoo to be.

Im Yugoslavian/Hungarian so I was thinking about getting something in that language.(Hungarian) Also have the option to get the family coat of arms but I'll hold off on that.

SOOO, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of tattoos that could utilize that language or something that has to do with my roots. I was thinking about doing "Know Your Roots" or "Victory Loves Preparation" in Hungarian. (and yes thats from the mechanic ) Just unsure as of now. Im sure some will just say, your body, your tattoo, your decision. IBTL.

All opinions are welcome but lets not get crazy.

i googled "hungary flag' and "yugoslavia flag" and came up with the idea of having the hungarian shield (w/ the crown on top) with the yugoslavian star behind it to represent both cultures.

If you get a tat in a language that isn't the main of the country you're in be prepared to be asked A LOT what it means. At least you're considering it in your family's native language, not a white guy getting a japanese symbol...
