Tax On Soda and Juice Drinks

The government is better at incentives for good behavior (ie roth ira) than using tax as a punishment. They should have a tax cut program for healthy people...at least then it would encourage regular doctors visits and healthy living.

I do agree that theres an epidemic of obesity and that we're going to have to pay big time for the resulting health problems from it...just not sure a soda tax will help do anything positive. The biggest problem is how ignorant most people are to eating and living healthy.

money for all his programs, improvements, and stimulus packages has to come from somewhere.
I'm yet to find a money tree.
