So, my airbox was getting water in it after pushing hard through deep water, so I put some more silicone on my deckplate.

I also had found that the PVC hose I had used for the diff breather extension had a huge hole in it. I bought some more flexible 1/4" fuel line to replace it. Ended up shearing every bolt on the bezel around my fuel filler cap in the process. Oh well. Stupid Pennsylvanian trucks.

Then, we decided to see what the flex was like. Didn't drive it far, just around the back of my house. MUCH improved.

Not even full stuff. Not sure what'll limit me, shock length or fender well room.

This is why I cut the exhaust before it bent out. It would never have cleared the leaves at full droop.

CV angles look good. I don't think I'll be installing my diff drop for now.

Front suspension up-travel is decreased a lot, but I'll have to live with it for now. Not a big deal.

Those eibach coils and setting the 5100 to .85" should get that up travel back! :spy:

    I'm undecided on the boots.

Also, forget to say that I did change my gear oil. Didn't look like there was much water in it, if any. Looked okay, but not amazing for only a couple thousand miles on it. A little metal on the magnet.

If you are gonna be doing a lot of off-roading id take the boots off, they will hold dirt and grime which will collect on the shock rod and cause premature wear.

I was wondering what to do for coils to keep good up travel. Someone said I could get longer OME coils and just set the 5100s lower

Yeah, longer coils and a lower setting.

And Brandon, I guess you're right. I don't feel like taking the bottom off, so I guess I"ll cut them off.

Should I just cut them? Actually, it wouldn't be too much work to just take the shocks off a t the bottom, would it?

Just cut em off. It's really hard to get the boot off without cutting. Plus you will never need it so no point in tryin to save em.

I thought the whole point of the shock boot was to keep out dirt and grime? Is it really just to look cool haha?

I guess it works well for people that don't wheel hard.

Touched up the bottoms of my sliders.

It'll just get scraped off again next time I wheel, but oh well.

Cut the boots off of my rear shocks

    Removed some stickers :D

and took off my front driver mudflap, since I'm missing the one on the passenger side.

The rake is really steep. Let's see if it'll settle down.

Got an e-mail from WheelersOffroad saying that my shackles are out of stock until at least next week, then they have to ship them.

I decided I'm not driving my mom's truck any longer so I found another nut, and took a HUGE 3/4th drive ratchet and all of my strength to crossthread that bitch all the way until it was flush. Nothing in the world will get that to come loose. I'll worry about getting it off later. I'm just more concerned about getting this aligned and driving it.
