Yeah, same set a couple grand aside for some sporty thing without a payment is probably what I'd do

 

Don't forget to add 14.6% to you mileage for the tire size difference to get a more accurate mpg. That's the number for mine anyway, you might want to check with the tire size calculator at the bottom of the page.

 

I'm cool for a civic or something like that. Don't need anything fancy cause I'll want to mod it

Wes and I were talking baout that, I'm not sure of the 42 I've owned, there wasn't one not modified unfortunately. Had an FRS for 3 months, and it had an exhaust, and lowering kit when I sold it. Stupid me

Your looking for the tire size difference, you'll have to calculate your mpg's when you fill up.
You add the difference percentage to miles traveled (I always used my trip meter) with the larger tires you've actually gone further than the odometer says.
Put in your original size on top & your current size on bottom. Diameter difference is the first one on the list.

 

Okay so I did my diameter difference. I'd have to see the trip meter thing to figure out the mpgs. My old truck was like 12 mpgs so I'd think around that 12-14

 

Last time I checked mine after a work week I went 198 miles(after I added the difference) on 11.5 gallons & got 17.15 mpg. That's like 50/50 highway & city. The last time I went to panhandle I went up 19 & topped of at 19 & I10, I got 20 mpg but I kissed that goodbye when I hit all the hills on I10. Haha

 

Well damn, that's not bad at all! My calculation has been $300 a month in gas for awhile may be time for a daily, but my brother insists, the insurance and all that would make it meaningless

 

Haha, for the last month I've been going to my cousins in New Port Richey every Saturday to help him remodel his new house so my gas bill went up a bit, about $160. Normally about $120.

 

I don't even talk about how many miles I have anymore everyone is so taken aback by it. But hey, I haul hay rolls and feed every week and all this, its a truck right?

 

I want to. Possibly moving soon but it is a maybe. I'll do that trip within the next couple years for sure.
And Travis, if you go to the page they have all the miles calculated for that trip. At least from Alabama anyway. They based it on 16mgs. That's my average right now but I'm mostly city with a pretty heavy foot most of the time

 

Yeah, im not the best at the easy driving, not a very friendly driver. Too much damn traffic. But I'll definitely look into it. Not like we built these trucks going "hey I want the most beastly fuel efficient truck on the block" lol it'll only get worse. I know a kid who dds a f250 on 46s, thats a bit impractical
