    I have dual 40mm Kadrons and an eagle 110 crank with straight cut cam gears. It gives them civics a good run for their money.

    nice to see a vintage bug thats unmolested and hasn't been diddled into a california bug or some other silliness... the dual carbs don't count (I ran dual webers on my type III). is that a 66 ?

    ah, considered by many best year ever, first year 12V, last year with single swing arms (68+ were very subject to bent control arms leading to awful rear wheel tracking).

    67 is definitely one of those sought after years. It found me when I bought it 10 years ago. Wasn't really looking but it was just sitting on a corner one day with a for sale sign on it and it was a reasonable price. $1,200.
