Saw Bela and the Flecktones on tour with DMB at Giants stadium. At one point both bands were on staging and dueling every instrument! Slap bass was phenomenal

 

first rock concert I took my then-13 yr old kid to was the Tour de Fromage reunion tour as he was a huge Primus fan.

 

Parenting done properly..well done. I plan to take my 13 yr old nephew to a show in due time..not sure whom, but I'm a big Slayer fan.

 

fwiw, Primus was *his* choice, not mine. He'd already been to numerous concerts/festivals of 'my' music, primarily acoustic folk stuff, akin to the multitudes of videos I've previously pasted on this thread, in fact we'd been bringing him to the Strawberry Music Festival since he was less than a year old. circa middle school, he'd started playing bass after a couple years of fiddle lessons, and 'discovered' Les Claypool (in fact, drove his 'classic rock' oriented bass teacher nuts wanting to learn how to play like Claypool).

 

Stage/phase 3(final).Bedliner textured spray!Almost completed but still have to prep and paint the mounting brackets before installation.

Thanks bro!The bedliner spray is a little challenging with the texture consistently spraying out of the can properly even with vigorously shaking/rattling of the can upon coats.Overall i'm not perfect so why should the sliders be!

 

I had that issue too when I did my sliders. When I painted my skid I used a different brand and it came out way better. I almost want to take all the paint off the sliders and re do them. Too bad they're welded on and that would be one collosal pain in the ass.

I could just never get a feel or understand what the hype was about them and with there fan base.I simply just don't like them from there beginning to existence now.
I remember how my ex brother in law was so into them and i would just laugh!He'd give me shit about the music i listened to but throughout the years he started to really dig the music i preferred and stop listening to them.LOL!

Ron, you may appreciate this. This is my GT wall. I didn't race, just busted tricks. All of these are 100% survivors, except the green Pro World Tour. Bought that one 15 years ago and restored it.

 

Thanks Johnston but too late.I have to pick up another can for touch up and to do the mounting brackets.I got mine at Vatozone(Autozone).
