    had a damn good IPA the other night, a bomber of Aurora Hoppyalis from Karl Strauss Brewing Company. Classic San Diego hop monster, without letting the bitterness overpower, it was very very good.

    my favorite stout is either deschute's obsidian stout, or north coast's old number 38. also the oatmeal stout by a local, santa cruz ale works.
