    meanwhile, *finally* wired my camper shell brake light AND pulled the power wiring through for my RGB adjustable dome lights and put it on the same 3-pin connector, so NOW I can finish wiring the dome light at my leisure. I already know it works.

    reason for R/G/B is that I want bright light for general use, and dim red light for astronomy nights where I use the back of the truck as my 'desk'.... seemed easier to use R/G/B led tape than to mess with seperate red and white LEDs, so now I can have any color I want...
