This is what I was doing last night.. Taking the little chrome cap that got stripped off my lugnut while drinking a local Irish Red.
After 30 minutes and scratching my rim in 2 places, I finally got the little shit.

Don't let anyone know I told you how to do this...
You can make them at home, and while they aren't Cafe DuMonde, they come out pretty good.

Go to the store and buy a can of biscuits. Make sure you get plain biscuit dough with NO FLAVORING (i.e. butter etc)
Take them out of the can, and cut them in half (the dull side of a butter knife works dandy for this)
Put a few inches of vegetable oil (preferably vegetable, although any frying oil works) in a pot or skillet.
Fry the pieces of dough in 350 degree oil until the bottom is golden brown, then flip them and fry until the whole thing is brown
Shake the fried dough in a bowl with powered sugar and serve immediately.

They go great with Cafe au lait which is basically coffee with milk. I prefer iced Cafe au lait, but to each his own.

I'm a craft beer guy (who isn't these days?). Lately I've been getting into Goose Island. It might be sissy of me but I'm digging on the Summertime Kolsch. I got a 12 for this weekend. I normally drink heavier and darker stuff but I'm in the mood for a little change.

What are you guys drinking this weekend?

I'm not typically a Kolsch guy, but I do like it better than wheats. It kind of fills that light, crisp feeling you like for the summertime. Also, don't feel sissy about what you drink. 90% of the reason I drink beer is because it tastes good. If you find something you like that tastes good, screw what everyone else thinks :D
