I can get it Monday for you at my shop. We have ALLDATa. I seen that tsb they finally included the 19-23 models to fix that whining noise.

 

Awesome all I can find is similar to the link the guy above posted. I'm having a noise from the rear end like this describes but don't know if this is actually the problem.

Is it a whining noise around 50mph? If it is then true bulletin will resolve the issue. They put sound padding in the back of your c pillars . And the rear cab mounts get a dynamic damping Cup installed onto them. Although I don’t believe the bulletin applies to Trd off-road models.

 

It's like a constant hum, almost like the noise a cicada makes in the summer. Starts about 25 mph and stays constant at any speed above. Doest change w speed, or what gear I am in. I hear it then I have the clutch in and the engine isn't producing driving rpms. I hear it very pronounced when only the rear window is open, although I can hear it faintly with all the windows closed. It's driving me nuts. My first thought was maybe it's the low pressure fuel pump in the tank, or there is some crud or rust in the rear drums/ parking break is dragging on drum.

Checked my vin against that database and says I don't have any open recalls

 

Interesting because my 23 sr5 has had a weird noise from the rear from day 1. Starts at around 30mph. I had the rear diff replaced and the tsb. The tsb made it little quieter but didn’t completely fix the issue

I have 2022 Tacoma double cab TRD SPORT and get that whining noise. I have appointment with Toyota dealer and I will show them the TSB 0045-23.
