TC UCA Install

    So here I am....My truck is all apart...I'm trying to do the front end install of my lift. TC UCAs and a OME shock/spring.

    For those of you who have put in TC's....Which way did you bend the metal to get the bolt out and back in....and How do i separate the stock UCA from the spindle??

    pull the inner fender towards you.

    I used a mallet to separate... took a little bit but it worked.

    I'm lucky- They have a pulley puller here...so i popped it with that....but I'm still hitting the insid eof the fender well with the bolt....Guess I'll keep trying!!

    I used a big cresent wrench & then a bfh to bend mine in & back afterward.

    Used a set of vice grips to bend the sheet metal out- and back.
    A small pulley puller worked great to separate the steering knuckles and the tie rod ends.

    Got it all put together....Gotta re-check torques tmrw and install the rear shocks....i'll be money after that. Driving home wasn't bad either...Didn't hera any new sounds or feel any new shakes or whatever.
