They have to do that so you can run the 35" tires without rubbing right.

Nice! I'd like to do something to my 11, looking at 33's or 35's. My question, do I need a lift kit to do that with my base 2011 4x4 double cab long bed...Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Depends how much cutting and grinding you want to do to your truck

What's the minimum parts and labor costs associated with lifting a truck like mine to accept 33's? Just curious.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
... lift doesn't clear tires. they still need to be able to go up when suspension travels. So 0 lift required and some work with a hammer, a lil plastic trimming, and probably a cab mount chop.

That said, most people go with a 2-3" lift which can run you anywhere from like $150 to several thousand in parts and usually an afternoon or a Sunday for install.

Is the 1" body lift already on this Tacoma?

Did you have to modify the front and rear dumper to close in the cap?

Actually in those photos it may have not been installed yet. The front bumper will stretch with the truck. The rear will have a gap and may take modification for the stock bumper.

So to make it clear the from dumper
What you mean by stretch? Like the front bumper will lift when you lift the whole front of the truck? Can you tell the difference with the 1" gap between the rear bumper and tailgate? I have a 3" lift but want to add on lift to the truck and sounds like a BL is the only way. I've looked around to see if anyone else uses the toytec BL but your the only one. Trying to do more research on this BL.

Did you have to modify the front and rear dumper cause of the 1" gap from the toytec BL?
