I personally just think its more fun to have control. I regret not getting a manual when buying my 2005. I remember seeing a few manual in the same configuration about 2,000-3,000 cheaper but I was dead set on getting a auto cause I didn't know or want to learn how to drive stick at the time.

Well this is what you would get with the 6AT. On the shifter you still get a manual style control that you can use.

    Yes
We just scoped one out and the portion of the cab mount that is visible from the wheel well sure does appear identical in both length and height and that is the part in question with tire clearance.

I was skeptical of the 3rd gen but this is looking real nice. Keep up the good work Vin and SCS team.

    Just the basics
Was any cutting needed so far with those tires? If not that will solve a lot of peoples problems coming from the 2nd gen.

at least now people can do fair 2-3 gen comparisons, since we are all used to seeing lifted, modded tacos and use that as the yardstick. the first thing I thought is from the back it looks a lot like a 2nd gen in the overall profile. I think the stance still has some rake too like mine. ripping the air dam off too helps as well.

all it needs now is some derp over that chrome.

Definitely. There is no getting around it if you don't want to do a huge lift.

I got under a 2016 recently. Looks like the frame is 99.9% the same as the 2015. Is that what your techs are seeing?

The main problem I have with the Tacoma.....The limited is $37-40K+. Add another $5k and you're knocking on 1794 Tundra money. The 1794 Tundra absolutely destroys the Tacoma on almost any/every front.

While this looks nice, I can't imagine the impact on acceleration and mpg. Again reason enough for me to step up to the 1794.

Im going to go look at an inferno 4x4 today.....they also have a 1794 for $47k.

That grill with a whale shark wrap would be pretty funny. I think it looks great on 35's and can't wait to see the finished product.
