From the US? More like $1700 CAD after shipping: https://sleeoffroad.com/product/sok1276/

Coastal Off Road in Vancouver has a tube kit for $700 CAD after shipping: https://www.coastaloffroad.com/product-page/65-weld-on-rock-slider-kit You'd have to get it welded and powdercoated locally.

Is October less friendly for stock vehicles or does it matter?

The trail in general can be done stock. October may be a bit wet, but Ardbeg is very rocky and has little “mud holes” unless you go looking for them.

met had a stock 2020 last trail run and at the end of the day, ask for a spot and we will get you through. I’m hoping we will be in a camp spot that I have seen vans and suvs go through. Including a uhail

I've done the south trail once before or at least part of it. Only had an issue at 1 spot really

That's what we will be doing mostly as we try and clean up the campsites off that trail and what not. if you are feeling brave you can try some of the offshoots. If my truck makes it out, I will be taking it easy.....Recovering from the last trip still.

That’s the one I was thinking! Perfect spot. Easy to get to. I have seen people drive their vans and stuff past there. All going to the boat lunch down the north trail.

    Guys Guys,

Get on the same boat here, you are all sailing in different directions.
I am pretty sure we will be at site #2 that Peter and Shveeeeet are talking about.

Site #1 is not big enough for the group going.

I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH ANYTHING AT ARDBEG. I'VE ONLY BEEN ONCE IN MY LIFE AND I NEVER REALLY GOT A TOUR GUIDE EITHER.
    :annoyed:
THIS IS THE ONLY CAMPSITE THAT I KNOW OF.

Dont worry, I have come to realize that I use GPS software and are on trails more than most of you. :spy:

I take for granted I always know exactly where I am going, and where I am. It drives me insane if I don't know.

When I see a miscommunication regarding location developing, I smother that bad boy fast. I want everyone on the same page. :yay:

All depends. Site one is pretty big too and is close to the beach which is good for people who are new to get to. Site two is nicer but meh. At the end of the day those two spots get confused as they are on the same road and are both easily accessible and nice.

The front page is the ultimate. We are just discussing and have some time to solidify everything. At the end of the day both sites may be taken and we are starting over. See how it all goes down.
