remember, some of us intend to be there before noon

so we might get a spot if it's one and not the other. and it's also why we have 3 spots. :D

Conferenced with the Russian, the campsite situation are still a go

    Black lake
    Campsite #1

45°38'08.5"N 80°10'11.9"W -> preferred option, if you are new and never been at that location make sure you have somebody who is familiar to that location. It's bumpy there!

    Black lake
    Campsite #2

TBA coordinates (where the helicopter landed a while back.....We are working to figure this out)

    Round lake
    Campsite #3

    45°38'55.0"N 80°10'44.8"W, plan B

    Dogfish lake

    Campsite #4
    45°36'34.1"N 80°08'48.0"W, plan C

There was some confusion on my part regarding the black lake campsite as there is the hard to get to spot, and also another spot around the corner from the beach.

We have over a month and can always adjust as we need. Depending on numbers we always have the large, huge beach.....Tons of options.....

I’ll have to try and upload the video from my computer. The helicopter was working on the power lines. Crazy how they were moving in and around the lines.

Seen that along the 401 around west of guelph line...serious skills. Not they tho, he/she. Is only 1 pilot in command...the pilot threads those needles, the line crew step out...not sure who has bigger balls

COT - Sleep however you think is comfortable for you. I use a 3 inch pad.
FIREWOOD - You can find whatever you need but most times it's wet. We bring from home and dump it all on site for the weekend so then we can focus on the trails and not worry about looking for it.
WINCH - We have a few winches on most trips that can help anyone that needs it. Bring whatever recovery gear you have and there's always help if need be.

Usually the same, you might experience a bit more water to cross and mud in certain areas. It's doable with stock. Everyone is helpful so don't worry.

@Saturnine jist bring what you have for camping/off-roading, no worries at all! Biggest thing is just make sure you have some kind of recovery point on your vehicle (hitch In the rear is good and usually there is some kind of toe point stock).

If you are unsure just ask away and like @Tridet167 said we will have stuff Worst case scenario. Don’t expect food/drinks from @Norilsk though.....

On the contrary! A fine bottle is going to be offered this time again! But yeah, I'd like medium rare steak and fries on the side when I arrive. Thank you.

This is where my initial confusion with the Blake Lake campsite was. This campsite is between the round lake campsite and the beach. So technically there is two black lake campsite (one easier to get to and one harder). If I would have just checked the coordinates, it wouldn't have been an issue.

This is the blake lake campsite where we were woken up by a hydro crew. A fairly large campsite (the three vehicles were just chilling in a gazebo tent).

    On behalf of the club......

Maybe when we meet for the fall clean up we can have a look at your rig. Then I can price out the DOM tubing and give you a quote.

Do you want weld on or bolt on? Bolt on would require making templates for the frame.

Below is the set I built for my Tacoma. I've since added insert with more dimple dies.
