Just remember to not put it under your tent or you will be swimming... did that once and everything on the floor was soaked.... heaviest rain I've seen and I was 3 days in on a 10 day trek.

Bonus when you’re soaked to the bone from said rain, you can stand next to the bonfire/lean against a nice warm taco soaking up the radiant heat :bananadead:

@Tridet167 - I'll pick up the 15x20 tomorrow, I think it'll be better to have extra size if needed

@Tacocomamama - The tent I picked up this summer comes with a footprint and the tent is sealed 5" up the tent wall, so hopefully that'll be enough. I've see people put a tarp on the inside incase the footprint and tent floor allows any water in.

Either way, it will be fun! haha

I have a old woods tent for 12 years that I love, every year I wash it, reseal the joins with seam sealer and spray the tent with 3M fabric sealer. Never leaked.

Josh and I were going to convoy up after work on Friday (3:30ish). I'm sleeping in the back of my truck this trip.

Damn I miss a lot when I dont look at this everyday.
I'm down for North trail or Black lake. I have a winch and recovery gear.

I'll bring a bunch of firewood with me.
