Yeah there are 2 climbs, the beach climb and another that the Dogfish lake group will most likely be going to and using to turn around. Alterinatively there is the rock garden you can do in reverse at the black lake loop junction.

 

My dream to blast military tank songs with a team of Poles doing north loop has been stopped in its tracks...

oh well, black and white films are of their time but that also means more booze for us!

 

Non-club members, and non-Toyota drivers are welcome on this event right? Just want to check before I see if my buddy want's to join us. I understand if we want to keep it in the family since this is our marquee event.

we've had "outsiders" part of the group. doesn't hurt to have an adoptee. it's also the best time to see about what off-roading is all about.


Translation = i have no issues with this.
obviously we need to take care of how many people show up as room might start to be a limiting factor, but the last Ardbeg run had almost 30 trucks and all was good.

 

Which brings to light, as it stands right now, i'm gonna try to leave friday morning. maybe get to the camp around Noon ish.

I've never been to Ardbeg in mid. May, what's the typical temp. at night?

I'm off Fri. too, but I think I'll be heading up in the early afternoon. I plan to sleep in and take my time packing the truck. If anyone is looking to head up after lunch, I'm open to a convoy.
