TEC || Ardbeg Spring Trail Cleanup May 5 - 7, 2023

Hi guys, I have to back out of this year’s Spring Clean Up. I’ve been informed that since it’s Mother’s day weekend we have plans.

Any chance we can move this up or down a weekend? It's Mother's Day weekend.

 

I’m cool with a change in weekend, keep in mind the following weekend is the May24 weekend.

 

If that weekend works for everyone then I'm ok with it. An extra day in Ardbeg.

 

Victoria Day weekend is a no-go for me. Already booked travel elsewhere.

 

Moving to the weekend before is better for me but might still be able to do Vic Day weekend.

 

As per some requests, the dates are moved for the week earlier now.

 

Just bring the moms

Would it be cool if I tagged along?

I have a tent for the back of my truck, not sure if others do the same?

Also, is there just a 'watch' option for those who are afraid to put trail scratches and war scars on their new and shiny trucks?? LOL!!

 

No problem at all to join us! Everyone's different with their tents and camp setups. Great time to see what works and doesn't for people too if you are thinking of changing. The truck tent will work fine. Just plan for rain. It will always rain!

Spectating is fine too. Or maybe you can get a ride along. If you change your mind the trails are not bushy and doing the south is pretty safe for stock trucks.

 

ground tent, roof top tent, gazelle, cot, a sleeping pad, a rock, hammock, sleep in the truck, local hotel, buddies place near by.
doesn't matter what you bring, just bring yourself and some food (mostly breakfast as @Norilsk will come to collect if he is not fed)

we have stretches that stock vehicles will be able to do with no damage to the sides. skid plate might touch a rock or two, but we can help point out the best lines to avoid anything getting dinked or scratched

 

I have 'off-roaded' as a passenger in a truck before .. and on dirt bikes and all sorts of ATV's but never actually done it with a truck. My last truck was not a 4x4 or offroad rated to be honest so I always kinda passengered with my cousin but he is into the expensive ATV stuff now so I lost my driver. I would love to play with all the fancy buttons on the current truck but it's way to new to break something on it already .. and I dont have the best of luck ... haha!!!!
