Multiple trucks totalled in an idiotic attempt for a photo shoot

 

For food I'm thinking the standard burgers & sausages for dinner. Bacon & Eggs on Bagels for breakfast, maybe some breakfast sausages or patties. Can probably do it for $20 a head again if we get enough people to pitch. I'll hit Costco tonight and see what they've got.

 

Is everyone running south trail backwards? How long does that take?

 

if i can get at least one other truck to run it with me on the way in, i am game. i was meet the group at King City around noon and see if anyone else wants to. time depends but probably 3-4hrs depending on a lot of things.

 

Anyone have a good firewood spot out that way?

 

My work sells them in lakefield. I can grab some if everyone chips in?

 

I did it at a fast pace with minimal stops before and that was about 3.5 hrs. I may up for that as well, just not sure what time I'm leaving yet.

 

meeting at King City around noon probably puts us at the Kirkham Road entrance by 3pm with a fuel stop in Parry Sound.

 

I've got like a half cord sitting at my cottage up by Mactier if a couple of us want to stop by and load some up.

 

I think we can make that happen

 

I wish my trailer wasn't all the way up in North Bay because I have 2 loads seasoned and ready to go ... also all my camping stuff is up there too!!
Ok, I'm going to try to make the Sunderland Esso at noon if that is still ago however I'm not running my truck on the trails just quite yet so I'll need some directions on how to get in there without doing the south trail with the group that might be splitting off to do that!!

I'll put in for Firewood and I'll put in for Food although I may only eat a couple things (Still suffering from Gall Bladder Removal Surgery)

 

Once you get to clear lake road, take it all the way into the water to the beach. Coordinates in the first post will get you there but I imagine at least 1 person will convoy

 

The road (paved and unpaved) to the camp site GPS coordinates in post #1 is all shown on Google Maps if you just want to get to the camp site.

 

Sunderland Esso is still a go. There is a chance of a detoured route going up (rather than 12 straight to 400) to see if there's some camping potential in some crown land along the way. Chance that there will be some off roading (nothing crazy).

The time taken with this detour will more than likely skip the south loop going in.

Friday Dinner - Italian & Honey Garlic Sausages & Buns
Saturday Breakfast - Bacon, Eggs, Turkey Breakfast Sausages, Buns & Breakfast Hash
Saturday Dinner - Bacon Cheeseburgers & Potato Salad
Sunday Breakfast - Whatever the hell is left from Saturday cooked up in a giant cheesy mess. Pop Tarts.

I've got coffee & a french press too but no milk or sugar.

I've got Mustard, Ketchup, Relish, Pickles, Hot Peppers, Mayo & BBQ Sauce for condiments. Also have lettuce & tomato for burgers.

BYO Plates & Cutlery

Tips for the cook in either weed or alcohol are appreciated but not expected lol.

I'll be heading up the 400 from TO so I'll meet whoever's gonna be at the King City onroute at noon. My cottage is about 5 minutes off of the 400 on Lake Joseph road so we can make a quick detour and nab some firewood.

Buddy with the 4XE backed out. He says he has to work but I'm pretty sure he'll be parked in front of a mall or a Tim Horton's somewhere applying tire shine.

Add me I'll pitch in for BBQ and wood .. also I'll bring you some tall boys that I can't drink after my gall bladder removal ..

I'm thinking I'll try to make my way upto the camp on my own with the GPS coordinates and if I.get lost I'm sure someone will help me out!!
