    Works for me.

How slow are we talking? What time are we going to have to meet/leave?

    suck
i'm not taking the fucking 401 lol

    The holy-shitting ass-facing 401.

I’m in the fast-lane (lol “fast”) and somebody’s ramming up my ass. I’d go faster, I WOULD LOVE TO GO FASTER, but there’s traffic in front of me. Finally they lose patience and try to pass on the right.

GUESS WHAT, SHIT HEAD. THAT LANE HAS A SHITLOAD OF CARS TOO PLUS THEY’RE DRIVING BEHIND TRACTOR TRAILERS. I’M PISSED OFF TOO BUT THERE’S NO WHERE ELSE TO GO SO KISS THE FUCKING RINGS AND GET BACK BEHIND ME. OOOH WAIT, THAT’S RIGHT, YOU CAN’T BECAUSE A MILLION OTHER CARS JUST TOOK YOUR PLACE THERE.

    WHAT. DID. YOU. LEARN.

    Jokes aside;
i'll be driving down 403/Queue-E down to the 427 in Toronto, then i'll link up to the 401 there and cry myself to sleep as i watch the express get closed off due to another fatality in the morning before rush hour.

he doesn't have a w̶o̶r̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ calibrated guage cluster so whatever "not getting arrested for driving too slow" is

I’ll be going 100km/h the whole way since I’m breaking in the diff at the moment. Most likely have to leave at 8am to be there by 10am. I understand if you want to go on without me lol

Okay, I guess I'll see you at the forest then. I'm hoping the traffic won't be so bad on a Saturday morning.

We can meet at Hester Tim Hortons. Trip takes pretty much exactly 2 hrs without traffic or delays so whatever time is required to get us there without holding up the group

As long as you enjoy it, that's all that matters. I'm not touring with Rock Stars either, but I still love playing, and play the odd gig here and there (before COVID).

I only have FMS/GMRS radios. We will be keeping any eye out for others on their way to the meet, so maybe we'll run into each other on the road. Last year I was stuck behind an accident as Norilsk and Tacoma16 drove by in the express lanes. So it can happen.

that was my group that passed you. Noilsk wasn't with me and Peter but we passed around via the collectors and saw that backup/ accident. followed the overhead signs saying there were lanes blocked on the express.

iirc there was a kid that passed away after the sedan was struck by someone that passed us maybe half hour prior. i still remember seeing the covers on the roadway...

just be careful on the road guys. you can't be late twice, just take it slowly and safely.

In case we pass eachother, what channel does everyone use on CB? I just got my system installed yesterday and know very little about standards and norms of using it.

oh just down the road, if anything yeah. flip on GMRS radios / walkie talkies to channel 4 then, it's the channel we'll be using as a group when we get there

    Not sure about CB...
