I believe @tacoma16 will take all the help he can get!

I did the entire route this weekend with another fully stock DCLB Tacoma, water levels are low and very dry, lot's of camping options. Should be great time!

I might try it this week since I can't come on the weekend. Anything in particular I should look for - I will try to route it in Gaia tonight.

@tacoma16 is taking the lead on this one with @zuknewbie

The plan was/is to meet at Ardbeg Friday night to camp at the beach area -> drive out and camp at the trails up north on Saturday -> finish the track on Sunday and do the bridge crossing at the end.

I took the Friday off so I’ll be aiming to leave Oakville sometime between 10-12. Not sure if anyone else is heading up during the day and may want to meet/convoy from somewhere

I’m off Friday as well with plans to head up early. I’m coming from Cambridge so you tell me a time and place you want to meet and I’ll be there.

Can you give me a better idea where Ardberg is? Those gps files you gave don’t work for me.

Since I’ll be meeting up with the group on Saturday - I can meet where the GPX file starts along the 17? — is there an aprox time for when you guys think you’ll be there?

@zuknewbie any ideas? I am planning on checking it all out shortly or tomorrow. We will get you sorted and aim for a set time Saturday regardless and wait for you or vice versa!

We will most likely be topping up fuel in Wahnapitae, it’s a 2.5 hour drive to get there from Friday nights camp. I can’t see us being at the beginning of the route before 10, but also don’t want to make you sit there forever. Best we can do is update you when we leave camp in the morning.

I’ll be bringing an extra 20 litres as my trucks a pig. Considering we are getting a gas stop on the Saturday. You’ll be able to get gas before getting into Ardbeg on Friday in perry sound. Shouldn’t have a need for it but I always bring.

Sounds good, I’m assuming you’ll be taking the 401 from Cambridge then ya? If that’s the case how does Barrie ONroute sound? Say for noon or do you wanna aim for earlier?
