    the end goal is to keep going with you guys as long as I can. :)
    Tonneau and ground camping is hear to stay...
    I'd trying to downsize my camping set up to just the basic's
    somewhere to sleep (small ground tent)
    somewhere to cook and eat (table chair stove)
    and everything portable so when I'm home everything gets packed away

    Me and you both know that is a lie lol. Two days of grinding and cutting, and then another day of messing around on fitment and welding. Definitely could do the second one faster (learn the to dos and what not to dos) but I’m broken and won’t be doing that install for a while lol.

    plus I don’t even know if my work will last. @Norilsk may break everything this weekend.

    sounds like there isnt much truth to that rumour which isnt surprising since i started it lol. JD fab quoted me 16 hours to install it and they designed the kit so you doing it in 3 days first time around in your garage is impressive.

    i assume @Norilsk 's supervision deserves the credit? :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    So far so good. It’s not perfect and will eventually need to be tubbed. For now we will see where it rubs on its “shake down” run.

    What happened to the ball joints? Lots of play or just boots torn?

    It takes a skill to manage and convince one :cool:

    In total it took us 5 days so far, first two days tear down and grinding, third was welding, 4th day assembling back, and 5th day final checkups and body/interior assembly. I think we worked each day around 6-8 hours. So 40 hours is a better estimated time…:anonymous:

    Well I also installed solid engine mounts, so now I feel all the torque of the minivan engine :bikewheelie2: It does need re-gear to 5.29s something for next summer along with exterior roll bar cage at the back, tubbing and other minor things.

    he did a lot of work on this one too. Can’t take that away from him. Needless to say seeing the truck roll out of the garage was pretty sweet. He has a bunch of work to do but it seems like it’s all coming up gravy.
