SCS Cruise Westin step bars Lund tonneau Jensen HU

Installed a Jensen CDR362 HU and backup camera in my 1st gen nearly 2 years ago. And for 2 years I have not been able to figure out why it always starts on the same song on USB drive instead of where it left off and why I have to re-pair my phone every time I start the truck. The HU keeps preset stations so it’s not like the power is getting disconnected. If I just turn the unit off, it starts playing where it left off but that behavior doesn’t survive turning the ignition key off. I’ve tried 3 different USB drives that all work properly in my wife’s Audi. Any ideas?
