Techstream and TSS

Hi all, I have a heavily modifed tacoma with an aftermarket grille. I jerry rigged tss sensor years ago and never had an issue. Out of the blue in perfect weather I get a tss and pcs malfunction. I have a copy of techstream, I was able to permanently disable the pcs and clear that warning, but havent figured out how to disable tss or clear that warning. I checked the ecu no2 fuse and seems as fuses are good. I was in a bit of dust leading up to the malfunction but wiped the sensor down. Does anyone know if you can disable tss with techstream? Do these sensors fail?

 

I don’t believe you can disable the TSS at all. I was having issues with mine last year, couldn’t disable it and it damn near wouldn’t let me try my truck without randomly braking hard AF.

I replaced it and had it recalibrated.
