I got Techstream to work. Using a 32 bit system makes it a lot easier. The drivers for the cable install with no problems in the 32 bit system.
The next issue was the version of Techstream. The utility button would not show up on any version I installed. I finally got lucky with version 10.30.029 using the $17 mini vci cable.
If you have a newer computer I would suggest buying the vcx nano cable. I could not get my windows 10 64 bit to work with the mini vci or the mongoose.
