Car accident. My first car was a 1998 Honda Civic. An 88 year old hit the gas instead of the brake at a stop sign and T-boned me.

Here's my first truck. Saved all through high school for a 9k down payment and now still make the monthly payments, insurance, and gas. Along with mods when I save up the money. I'm 18

See that right there proves people's point. That is a damn nice truck. If you put in enough work to pay for it in full, I can almost guaruntee you would not be calling it a Piece Of Shit.

You all have some great trucks! Regardless of who paid for it, what year it is or how many miles on it, or how many mods done to it.
Its a friggin Toyota! Be proud!

I am 35 years old,( almost 36) and got my first new Tacoma when I was 34.
I drove $500 cars and trucks or cheaper for about 18 years, and finally when I thought I was responsible enough, could afford it, and was sick of driving cars or trucks without, AC, power windows or power doorlocks, power steering, or even cruise control.. I had to do it!
Im glad I waited, because I appreciate so much what I got now.
Still kinda miss my old 84 landcruiser though. iT was a bitch to drive( no power steering) and only got 7 miles to the gallon.
Best of luck to you all, keep working hard and good things will come to those who wait.
Oh... and my older brother and sister both got cars for their 16th bday from my parents, nothing real fancy, but I did not because my parents lost their jobs and had to start over. I wasnt pissed about it though. Just made me work harder to get what I wanted.
now I have nicer toys than any of them!
