Tekonsha P3 and mount plate

I purchased the unit for my last truck, but never installed it. Sitting in the box. Thought I would install on new taco and bought the ESP mounting plate for it but decided to go a different route. Comes with everything in pics. The Toyota adapter is 3040, and don't believe it will work with 3gen, so you will need a diff adapter.

Again, never installed, never plugged in, comes with plate for 3gen. PM works for more details.

Does the harness work for a gen2?

Does the second gen have that little cubby?

 

Idk I've never had one, I was just saying yoy may have better luck selling this to a 2nd gen owner since that's what it is for and you posted it on the 3rd gen for sale thread. GLWS

 

Actually, I posted it here because of the third gen cubby mounting plate it comes with..... But thanks.

 

My P2 fit very nicely in the cubby to the right of the steering wheel in my Gen 2. Check your dimensions, This might too !

 

I'm interested in the ESP mounting plate if you find a 2nd gen person to buy the controller and cable.
