Another Powerstop fan here. I did ceramic pads and coated rotors on the back of my wife's Civic about 18 months ago, no complaints and the coating is holding up well. I put the same type kit on the front of my Accord a couple of months ago and they've been very good too. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and they're priced very competitively.

That's allot of different rotors in 235K, is suspect there's something else impacting the brake longevity. Possibly driving habits, loaded vehicle, local conditions. That's way outside what's normal for one of these trucks. I agree that most budget rotors from AP stores are crap, OEM and brembo rotors aren't crap and if you're going through them as fast as you're saying then it's not the product.

There has been a massive thread on upgrading to Stoptech cryo slotted which handle more heat and TRD ceramic pads to resolve the factory parts being crap and warping. Which mine did twice.

Amazon is probably not going to beat any of that.

or the big long time thread on bigger 4runner brakes that fit easily to address the factory front rotors being designed undersized by Cleetus.

a b7 a4 stock sedan is 321mm front. Cheap easy s4 is 345mm. Cayenne Touareg q7 is 6 piston Brembo. All weigh less, have lighter tires, and usually tow less.

I have new 4runner calipers sitting in a box. I just have to figure out everything else I need to do to make it fit besides rotors and pads to match, such as if master cylinder and booster needs to be changed.
