    Oh, once I removed the ac reservoir bolt (by breaking it :( ) I found that the mount bolt hole was just big enough for the bolt, in other words, no edge of the sleeve in sight so I could not "simply" drive the sleeve out. Think, think.... aha! I found a big ole drill bit that's a pinch wider than the bolt. Then since the hole was down a foot or so behind the grill I needed something to extend the bit. Think, think, think, think.... (this one took a little longer) aha! I took the middle section of my truck jack kit handle & inserted the bolt into the open end of it & clamped it in. It held good & I drove the bit into the hole, widening it just enough to be able to drive the sleeve through & grab it from underneath. Of course the bit was stuck now. Only needed one "think" this time cuz the bolt was right there & was the perfect size to drive the bit up & out. & for now, the ac reservoir is wired in. Oh, & the hood is giving me more guff than usual. PB blasted it, used the screwdriver to reset the hook.... no luck.... funny, out of all the hiccups along the way, this is the one that got me to uttering full sentences made up mostly of words I don't typically use.... anywho, guess I best see about a fix for the hood.

    Stoked for you that you got it done. I can honestly say that I've been here before myself and asked some (what I felt like, were) "stupid" questions and I got some really solid, honest answers. As you do this more and more, you'll find that there are a few people that will make comments that are "less than encouraging" and you'll learn to just blow them off. As you do more and more, and have more and more questions, you'll see that (at least I feel like) you'll get honest-to-goodness help. Guys like @mechanicjon and @Pigpen and @Timmah! I know have helped me before on stuff. I can say, without a doubt, completely replacing my front suspension would not have happened at all without TW. I would never have even ATTEMPTED it without TW- without a doubt.

    I'm stoked for you, and honestly, I'm pretty impressed you took it on, and stoked you got it finished. There always those little "SNAFUs" you'll find (at least for me) when doing ANYTHING on a vehicle, but they can be worked out.

    I'm super stoked for you, and I'm glad TW could help you as much as it's helped me.

    Have you had a chance to figure out the source of the unknown vibration yet?

    Hey, thanks for buggin' me. I had indeed taken some pics, but wnated to get better ones, then we got snow :( & then I got offered some work, ya-da, ya-da, ya-da....
    So we started with the tranny mount, or the easiest one to see. My guess is since this one looks like this....
    Also, I put the Handy Level app on my phone & did a quick check on the drive shaft angles. Did I write them down? Nope. Was I in denial that it would ever snow & I would get back under & do them properly by now? Yup. However, & you will correct me if I am off here, a new tranny mount or new tranny mounts, would change this anyway?

    I am hopefully getting access to a lift in a heated space this week, so maybe first I will see were I can get with the bolt. This is always my main concern as I am not set up to deal with the potential issues that can accompany the big ol' rusty bolts/nuts. This is why the mount job ended up with a mechanic.

    Oh, & I got myself all the stuff to grease, so am going to take care of that & keep up on it....

    Haha! So the answer to your question, you ask? I have not figured it out, however we may be on to something/somethings/lots of things. My guess is it is going to be one thing after another until she is back to where she should be had I done my part....

    @Torspd & @Pigpen
    We finally broke out of the single digit & below temps, so I was able to do the tranny mount. No more highway vibration! & ya know? I will have to verify tomorrow, but dare I state that the takeoff shudder is gone?!?! That can't be right. I have had that since way back.... Anyway, thank you both for helping me ID the source.... still much to do come springtime....

    That's what we do here. Solve problems and peer pressure each other into spending more mod money. Mod Mafia. ;)
