I am not sure that this forum needs to "convince" anyone to buy a Tacoma. It sounds like this is just a Ridgeline vrs Tacoma thread. My two cents.

ridgeline is no good, i am a honda hater, a super mass produced car companyt hat over charges for thier vehicles and parts. imo .I also dont like the slant for teh bed wall. the cooler intergrated into the bed is cool, but thats all i like. my chickie doesn't like it either, and wont bang you if you drive one. lol also, components for honda (ie materials use) imo are cheap, but i am not 100% familiar with ridgeline, just honda in general

None. Stock with options - Roof rack, running boards, hood scoop, etc.
From experience, friends & family had not had the same success with Honda's reliability as with Toyota's especially the automatic Honda tranny. IMO, I think the Ridgeline is an overpriced "truck" in the same class as Chevy Avalanche. Again, just my opinion.

I agree. When I checked out the Ridgeline at the autoshow, the interial looked like it was made from cheap materials - Seats in back, panels & dash..

i wouldnt even call the ridgeline a truck, many places that tried doing offroad reviews with it had them break without making it through it. And really it isnt a truck its a honda pilot with a box. A real truck has a rear axle and diff.

that pic of the ridgeline with the tire in the air is ridiculous, losing ground traction on that....is it built on an accord frame. f'n a. that should be posted on every honda dealership wall

Actually the Ridgeline is based on the Odyssey frame....I don't think Honda would care if you pasted that pic on the wall. Honda never marketed and in fact let's people know upfront the Ridgeline is not a standard truck and not meant to off-road.

    Too few to list.
The Ridgeline was never meant for off road or even advertised for it. Honda made it purely for those who wanted the versatility of having a bed for light hauling around town. It is a minivan with a bed. Or is it? :D
