Planning a trip in July to Telluride with the wife, we are staying a few nights in Telluride. My wife wants to spend sometime in the town. I dont know what to expect with COVID. We will start early on our first day in Telluride.

We planing on hitting the trails, i at least wanna complete Black Bear Pass, Imogene Pass, and Ophir pass. If we have time maybe any other trails yall can recommend.

What is the suggested order i should tackle these in? so i'm making the best of my time...

i thinking two tails a day. one day is set aside and we will be hiking.

Then we will push on to Moab, Utah.

Depending on your set-up and tolerance to pucker, Engineer Pass/California/Corkscrew is a tad milder than Black Bear, which has a very narrow, exposed section. You can eat in Lake City and fuel up. All good choices, however. You will love the passes between Telluride and Ouray.

    You are correct.

It's not expected to open until mid-July, so....
