Hi, I just purchased a new 2011 tacoma double cab and love it. The one thing I miss from my old truck is the outside temperature gauge. I read a post here that the wiring may already be in place and i would just need the sensor and the gauge itself. Has anyone put one in after factory?

    Stock for now
Occassionally they come up for sale in the Buy/Sell/Trade section.
FWIW They only come in grey & you'll need one specific for 09+.
The modules at the dealer are crazy expensive.

I put a $10 Inside/Outside temp wireless setup from WalMart in mine.
Painted the white housing black w/ testors model paint.
Its a cheap mod plus I had taupe interior.
A few others have added the wired modules that you speak of.
Hope you enjoy your new truck & Welcome to the forum
