    Was zip, folks!
Sorry if someone already posted this. I can't find it.

I got some issue with my temperature gauge and fuel gauge, both not working because my 10 Fuse keeping on blowing. I changed the fuse, working fine. BUT when I put in drive or reverse the fuse blown again.

Anyone ever run into these issues? Much appreciated for your input.

This dosent help ya much, but its gotta be a short causing that issue. Rubbed through or exposed wire er something like that, rodent damage possibly....

To move the shifter out of park you gotta depress the brake pedal right? Could that action be what is blowing the fuse. If so, the pedal mechanism is right behind the dash panel area. Check for wires that are moving when you depress the brake pedal. I agree with @bry838 , a bare wire being grounded to cause a short.

id think a short somewhere near the neutral safety switch if not inside the dash behind the gauges. are the shift indicators lighting up, or are they supposed to but not?

    Thanks guys !
After tracing what you guys have suggested , I found what the issue was. Awhile back (years) I've installed a bar light under the tailgate. Some how the wires got pinned against the tailgate and exposed bare wire to the metal. I taped the wires, and vióla the issue was solved. Thanks again for your input guys !
