Temperature/Heat/Fan Control Knobs

I like this idea...but it moves the problem to the next owner..which is not nice...

I'd try to get the dealer to fix first....you can always "rip them off" if you wish...

 

I know this is old but I am having this issue, is there any resolve i nee that damn knob!!

 

Mine just did the same thing yesterday. Who has found a way around replacing the whole cluster and avoiding a $700 price tag?

Well, with the number of guys getting the illuminated Chinese knobs for $15 from E-bay, there ought to be LOTS of the originals lying around...I have 3 myself...

 

So how much do you want for some originals? I want to go ahead and replace all 3 since they are all the same age

Well I got my Chinese specials in yesterday and installed them.

 

I know this is old but I just broke mine. If you guys are still looking for the part it's on Amazon for $17.

 

The issue I have with these is that it's really hard to tell what position they're in unless it's dark and the lights are on. They need a white line or some sort of indicator that shows up when the lights are off. Mostly an issue with the vent control and less so with the fan speed and temp controls.
