So I washed my truck on saturday and ran a few errands. I got back into my truck and noticed that the odomoter, fuel gauge, and all the other devices on the dash were dead. I shut the truck off and restarted a couple times with no luck. I drove around a little bit then shut the truck off and let it sit for a few minutes, turned it on and had power again. Anyone ever have this happen before? Any ideas why it would happen? And should i get this checked out by the dealer? Its the first time its ever happened and my truck only has 15k miles on it? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Same thing happened to me with about 50 miles on my '06. My first thought - damn it! Stopped truck a few miles down the road, turned it back on and all was right with the world.

15,750 miles later all if good.
