Hey everyone, I have an 08 Tacoma SR5 V6 and the other day the serpentine belt snapped while I was driving leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere. After throwing a new belt on, barely getting home, and inspecting the truck I found that the belt tensioner was definitely the culprit and will need to be replaced. I've already ordered a tensioner and pulley kit and was hoping to be able to replace it myself. However, looks like a pretty tough job and I can't find a video or write up of this being done to guide me. Just wondering if there is anybody who has experience doing this job that would be willing to provide some guidance? Is it better to bite the bullet and pay someone to get the job done? Going to attempt it this weekend. Any help you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated.
