Adam, I'm just missing a Kukenam Ruggedized in grey.... :)

Planning to purchase with my tax return, but I'll be at Hammers and make sure to swing by! Will you guys have tents on display?

Also, is the Autana pretty much a Kukenam just with the overhang for the Annex/ladder area?

If it's not too late to bring this thread back up I would like to know the difference between the Autana and Kekenam as well.

The only difference between the tents is that the Autana has the part that hangs over the ladder which really helps in rainy/snowy climates. An advantage to that is if you use the annex you can go straight down the ladder and into the annex to change clothes, sleep people etc.. versus having to go outside the tent, down the ladder, then inside the annex.

Cool thanks for that! Since the plans are for fair weather camping I don't think I'll spring for it, but am sure I'll regret it during the first unexpected rainstorm

Women tend to love having the hang over part so they can change clothes and what not in the annex without having to go down the ladder outside or lay inside the tent. Also in cold weather you can put a heater down there and heat up the entire space.

The heater idea is pretty great. Might have to wait a bit to order but sounds worth it!

On the Tepui site both the Autana and the Kukenam are available in camo only, unless you get the sky versions. Are there other colors still available? On this thread i've seen some bright orange ones I really liked.

Got it. That ones way heavier though. Any issues with having it on top of your shell?
