As has been mentioned REI is full retail price but a few benefits like free shipping as long as you pick it up. The other thing to keep in mind with REI is that they may not have the model you want in stock. They're usually pretty good but sometimes they just don't have it. Their inventory is not the same is Tepui's in house inventory.

But as you know I can get you the 10% discount and the orders come directly through Tepui's in house inventory so if it shows "in stock" on the website you're good. I can usually back-order something that's out of stock too which will reserve you one from the next shipment. Shipping costs are flat rate. $125 for Ayer models. $150 for non-Ruggedized Kukenam/Autana models. $215 for Ruggedized and XL models. That's delivered to your door. Sales tax only applies to California sales. I can also arrange to have the tents held at the Tepui warehouse for you to pick it up if you want to do that and avoid shipping.

 

I've got the 6' awning and one of the poles that go horizontal to the ground the tip broke off. Can I just order one of those poles? I can get pics later I just keep forgetting and haven't needed to use it since

 

Replacement poles are available. Send me a couple pics when you can and I'll see if we can cover it under warranty.

is the instant 20% off a single item a sure thing on April?... if so, membership is $20, the autana siberian camo xl is $2350-20% = $1880 plus tax then i can pick it up at a local REI store here in san diego?

Yes... we called REI too... the dividends come out at the same time as the 20%. ETA around 3.28.

I hear ya.
But.....as many of you are aware, Tepui stays away from doing group buys. Believe me I understand the attraction to a group buy from the customer stand point. Tepui's primary reason for not doing group buys is because of how they value their dealers and want their dealers to be successful. Rooftop Tents as you know are expensive pieces of equipment and while Tepui sells a lot of them, they are not like buying a 12 pack of your favorite beverage, that you just go buy on a whim. By doing group buys, customers will wait to purchase to take advantage of the group buy (understandably) but that means a number of dealers get squeezed out and miss out on potential sales they may have had otherwise. So rather than "steal" sales from their dealers by doing a group by, Tepui chooses to show support for their dealers in this way. It's much better business in the long run.

Hope you can all understand the logic behind that.

 

Let me do some checking for you. Tepui generally shipped to the CONUS, but let me see what kind of options we've got and what shipping cost would look like.
