Is there a alternative to the installation hardware. One of the brackets that slide in got stripped from the bolt head being tightened down. Anyway to replace just that one piece or hopefully a better replacement? It’s made of aluminum and the bolts are steel.

I would think you could contact Tepui, and order just that piece.

    ...too much shit to list.
What @Caddis said. You can buy the hardware separate.
If you're handy with metalwork it's pretty easy to cut a piece of flat place, drill a hole, and weld in a bolt as a replacement. IIRC, 11 gauge plate fits.

Going on 3 years now, with probably close to 100 nights in it, loving my Tepui Kukenam Ruggedized. I think i have also thoroughly worn out the travel cover, cover straps and bent 2 of the tension rods in gale force winds. Still keeps me warm, dry, and comfortable.

Great tent. I just scored last week that was used 4 times and got it for half the price. Can't wait to put it to use!

Anyone have the RCI bed rack for 3rd gens? I've just received my Kukenam Sky 3 tent, and wondering the best way to mount it with it opening to the driver side. I apologize if it's been asked before, but I haven't seen anything specific for optimum mount.

Anyone here have the weatherhood? I just got mine and was wondering if there was a specific way to install it or if it's just a matter of tossing it over the top of the tent when it's open. It's 30F and snowing up here right now so the less time I spend doing it the better... Thanks!

They had one on display at Tepui Fest and it looked pretty sweet, solid build.

@Box Rocket is there a way to pound out dents on the aluminum bottom. Looking at a used one, and wondering if fixable. Looks like it is riveted together.

I have similar issues with mine caused by the ladder. This spring I'm going to put a layer of high impact and temp resistant foam to help prevent more damage.

Only way to pound the dents out would be to take the base apart, which would involve drilling out all the rivets and removing the insulation. Seems like way more hassle than it's worth to me.
