Just a bunch of old crap
I leave my double size sleeping bag inside of mine when I fold it up, and it's a little trickier. It's such a big sleeping bag that I have to do some extra tucking on the sides but it only adds a couple minutes to the put-away time. Once you set it up and take it down a few times, you get pretty good at minimizing steps and trips around the truck.

If you have a taller rack than the one in the video - like mine which puts the RTT base as high as the cab top - and you have a lift, you will have more ups and downs climbing up on tires or sliders to reach everything. That increases setup/takedown times by about 50%.

    enough to go over stuff
Drove up to gold lake on friday with another TW buddy and a Jeep. The weather was nice on arrival. We had easy wheeling into camp and we picked a nice spot on the lake.

We setup camp and sat around the fire. In the morning it started raining and half the camp was out hunting. We quickly setup up the pop up and started a fire but the rain turned to snow.

Then we had a flooding issue. The 1 ground tent in the group was in a giant puddle also the area under the pop up was flooding so we dug some channels for the water.

Our dog decided he didnt like the rain or snow and wanted to be in the warm tepui

We spent the rest of the day sitting by the fire, going out on wood runs, and staying dry.

The sun came out sunday morning though.

We packed up camp and went wheeling and shooting.

All in all it was a fun trip. We got to test are winter camping abilities and spend some time just relaxing by a fire and enjoying good company. The two tepui RTTs stayed warm and dry while the ground campers were cold and wet. The tepui tents really are 4 season tents.

I have an ARB Sampson for the LC and am currently looking for a new tent for this project.
The reviews and great pics are the making of a tough decision.

Adam, Thank you. You know you are the original reason I am considering Tepui at this time.
Hmmm, My thought was the Autana due to the annex. Our kids are grown but, like the idea of a 3 person for the dawg and or a bit more room.

Although, it would be perfect as I should also be in IF this weekend.

This tent is the same size as the Autana, the only difference is the annex (or the lack of one) with the Kukenam. Let me know soon. We're headed up there on Friday morning.

There is one Kukenam left as part of the "used" sale. It's going for $850 and is unused. They need to know by tomorrow if you want it. Call the shop and let them know.
