What are the discount tiers and what are the prices?

Are we talking a discount off MSRP?

Because MSRP is often very high in the industry with lots of room for 4th July sales of 20-30% off MSRP at various retailers.

Usually with group buys you are getting a % of a price that is already below msrp.

Please let me know.

 

The discount is off of the price listed on Tepui's webpage and I pm'd you about the discount tiers.

I had looked on the first page and did not see a note regarding what the discounts were or if they would only be revealed via a PM. Now that I have your pm it is clear.

I would be interested but a the tent I'm interested in is sold out. Quite a few are sold out.

Questions:
1) does it include free shipping
2) do we have to pay California sales tax to the seller
3) do we have to prepay to get on the list or is our word good enough?
4) if an item is sold out when will it ship (next season)
5) do they guarantee a manufactor timeframe for sold out tents , say two months?

1. Sorry I forgot the shipping it is a $150 flat rate or you can pick up for free at Tepui's storefront.

2. I am fairly sure unless you pick up sales tax is not going to be assesed I will check on this to be sure though.

3. No prepayment is needed, but I will not add any one who is wavering to the list. That being said the actual list I have is quite a bit longer, but only the ones who are sure are listed. As soon as we hit 10 though you can request an invoice pay and your tent will ship no need to wait until the gb is over.

4. In the first post it mentions that the Kukenam Ruggedized model will ship in early April, and any other models that are sold out should be in stock before the group buy ends.

5. As of right now they have told me early April. I can ask for an update on that though.

I see they are located in soquel, can right near Santa Cruz.

Maybe I can swing up there for a road trip and pickup local!

How are the payments going to be processed? If I do local payment I'm sure I will have to pay tax that's just how it is.

 

I looked on the website and one of the tents that I might be interested in was listed as "sold out". If we're only talking weeks or maybe a month or so to wait on one, I'd probably still be interested, but the website doesn't list prices on the sold out item. Maybe they should list the price and "presently sold out" below that.

 

Follow this link and it lists all the prices. If you click on the sold out tent, then it will not show the price on the next screen. The main page showing all models of the tents, shows the prices of all tents.
