    Terminal Repair W W - Toyota (82998-24380) where would it be located for a 2012 Tacoma 2wd 2.7 automatic the dealership of Toyota Chula Vista is charging me $400 for labor and I would like to see other options. Would you be kind to help out ?

    That’s the part number for the terminal.
    There are hundreds of them though out the truck.

    What is the problem you are having that led to the terminal repair?

    You are looking for the correct connector. Then unplug the connector, remove the bad terminal, and replace it with the correct one. Most of the terminals don’t have any wire with them.
    You need to crimp on a new wire. Cut and splice the new wire to the old one.


    Is the $400 including diagnostic fee?
    Depending on the circumstances, finding a bad terminal can be tough and time consuming.

    @TnShooter Last week on Tuesday evening I went to go fill up gas after filling up I started my car within those five minutes I was browsing through my iPhone and slowly my car Dies out. seven tries I try to crank my vehicle it wouldn’t turn on I got fed up call Towing service guys to take it back home. this morning I had it towed to Toyota of Chula Vista and they quoted me at $400 for parts and labor and tax included and that they won’t have it ready till Monday or Tuesday. A $18 dollar part shouldn’t be that complex to find I hope lol. Any clue?
