I’ve had these mil spec battery terminals sitting on my workbench for a couple months now. I’m ready to dive in and throw them on. What would be the best way to go about it? I already have 2 awg wire and lugs but I’m not 100% which wires to replace. I guess in the end it’ll be a big 3/4 upgrade. Anybody have any pointers? I attached a picture of my current setup with terminals sitting on the battery.

I’ve done my + but not my - yet. Your current setup doesn’t look problematic to me but the one thing you don’t seem to have is a way to get the ground to a hoop to connect to that nice new terminal.

I have SDHQ battery terminals which come with a compression ring terminal for ground. Need to do that someday.

I have 20 feet of 2 awg wire and wire lugs. I just hastily traced the power wire to the plastic thing to the left of the battery and felt stumped.

I just did the same after I bought a new optima battery but I added this to clean up the wires.

I should also mention I’m beefing up my electrical system/ terminals to install a winch in the near future. My pos Itv’s post is getting pretty crowded as is.
