About to install a OME full 3 inch lift.

    Getting new rims and tires

looking to 18 inch rims and 285's I'm torn between the Nitto Terra Grapplers and the Trail Grapplers.

I like the economy of the Terra's but like the look of the Trail's

What do y'all think? Open to all tire suggestions.

    Subscribing.

I currently have the Terra Grapplers, but they are completely useless in the mud around here.

I love my trail grapplers in 286/75/r16. They are amazing off road and there is very little hum when on the highway.

My MPG sucks but that happens with any MT tire.

I know I will be beat up for this but why are you stuck on only those two tires? I have the GY Duratracs. They are a AT with a near MT thread design. Driven across the country. Been in and out of places I knew better than to go but still made it out of. Ive had them for over two years now. Have over 30k on them. Still have 30-40k left in them. Just my 2 cents.

No pre runner trim, no mud flaps,no step ups,I do have the Deck plate though. Kings @ 0 and 5100's in rear. stock leafs. Total chaos UCA.
I'm not as knowledgable as most of these guys but I guess it depends on what type of drivin you do. I have 285 terra grapplers and I like the highway ride and off road. But ya kinda useless in heavy mud.

The duratracs have really weak sidewalls apparently.

If your planning on off roading I would avoid them personally. I had duratracs on my ranger and they were a good tire but I just couldn't trust them off road.

    Not enough
My 10 Cents...You should probably decide between MT & AT before deciding which exact tire to choose.

They are not 3 ply like some of the others but I am also not doing any type of rock crawling.
