    I kinda wish i had.. but am happy with my decision. Even after drilling 12 holes in my roof to install a roof rack. (And now taking it off, and having to plug them) :anonymous::anonymous:

    Much ado about a very small minute concern. Not real sure there is a problem.

    If it were mine. I'd reach in the hole with a q-tip soaked with rust converter. Then install the rack with beads of silicone around the mount points.
    And call it done.

    BTW, never stick your finger in a hole. You never know how it can hurt you.
