I have the 16" OEM rims, cushiony Upsized tires, Bilstein 5100's and it still feels & rides like stock. I mean, like a truck. It won't get any better than that..... :deadhorse:

I went from a Venza to a Taco TRD Sport and there is a difference in the ride but not that bad. I have 34 PSI in the tires and they ride nicely but like others have mentioned when you a little bump or crack in the pavement you feel it but nothing to crab about. I go off road with it and it rides nice on the trails or paths. I only have 5,000 miles on it and I am pleased with it so far. Hey it is a truck.

I have never really checked them myself I just go by what the TPM says. It changes I see it at 34 then once they warm up it drops to 31 not sure if that is normal.

Shouldn't the PSI rise as they warm up?

unfortunately limited’s lack in the suspension department. They come with the cheapest shocks and what feels like the highest spring rate of all the Tacoma’s. Pair that with the smallest sidewall and the biggest wheels and you end up with the worst riding pickup in the lineup. People have said it before but Tacoma’s ride better with an extra 100lbs in the bed. When you consider the ride quality of Tacoma’s remember it is a vehicle that was designed for launch in 2005. If you compare it to vehicles of that time it isn’t so bad.

My tacoma rode like a car after i loaded 1300 lbs of concrete bags in the bed. Felt like the way my old 2001 tundra rode.

the rear suspension is designed to hold a load, so it tends to ride like a "truck" when empty. they could make it ride smoother, but it would sacrifice load capability which kinda defeats the point of a truck.
