Heh Heh... I was trying to be subtle about the population aspect with my "do we have enough materials in the ground to meet demand for new mandated tech" type of questions. But you guys covered that for me lol. I usually try not to go there, as most people don't want to have adult conversations about serious topics / ramifications that are considered social taboos. But I have always had a similar view on the subject.

And just as another side order of fries for this hamburger, don't forget those that are trying to mandate to save the planet had to fly 70,000+ of their members to the COP climate council of elders recently. Try to do that carbon math...

"In 2019, when he traveled on a private jet to Iceland to receive a climate change award, Kerry was asked why he chose to fly private while telling others to mind their global emissions. He responded by noting his own self importance, saying private jets are “the only choice for someone like me. If you offset your carbon, it’s the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle,”

Then they are also on-off telling to reduce meat consumption, again while serving up nice cuts at said event.
"The United Nations is expected to tell Americans to cut back on their meat consumption to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, despite serving meat products during its COP28 climate summit in Dubai.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the U.N. will release its global food systems’ road map during the two-week climate summit, which began Nov. 30. On Sunday, the conference will dedicate a day, for the first time ever, to food systems. In the anticipated report, the U.N. agency is expected to tell Americans to lower their meat intake, according to Bloomberg."

This is the stuff where I have problems when people say I'm getting involved in other's business. Stop the hippo-cracy.

I don’t like it, and want to comment, but shouldn’t. It’s extremely frustrating watching problems trying to be solved. It’s kinda like drug testing on animals, I don’t wanna watch, but the problem needs to be solved. Hope I make sense.
